  Blackmagic Decklink HD Pro dropout slate

  Hi. When I capture video thru my Decklink HD Pro card, a Blackmagic slate appears every time there is a dropout frame from the incoming video (ingesting analog tape formats…) I asked Blackmagic if there was a way to get rid of this annoying artifact (I’d rather just have black) but was told no. Does anyone have a workaround? Thanks!
