So I went to put some text over my video and I am getting this black object or something covering my text. No matter what font I use or the size of the font. It grows and shrinks as I increase and decrease my font size, but never disappears or uncovers my text. Any guesses as to what i may have turned on to be a default setting that is doing this or some bug perhaps (probably not, more likely my stupidity).

I did find one thing that may help. When I change the character form setting from “Stroke Over Fill” to “Fill Over Stroke” it shows the last letter of the word I have written.

You have a 477 point black outline stroke on the text. Take that out.
