black screen trouble
I am making an AMV using .WMV format clips. When I play my movie in the preview box, the movie flashes black at random times. Also when I’m editing the clips I get black flashes. Please tell me why I’m having this problem and how I can fix it

Just out of curiosity, have you been nesting Vegas projects together in the same timeline alot to get your clips that you say have the black parts in them? In that case, you may have corrupted project or pre-rendered video files in the various projects that you’ve been nesting. You may have to go back to all the projects after defragging your hard drive and render each project to an .avi file and then import the files into your main project for viewing/rendering.
