Black Magic PRODUCTION Camera 4k – Problems with shut off anyone?
I have my second BMPC4K that seems to have the same problem as the first one, it will not shut off unless plugged into AC power. On battery only the camera shuts off, then starts up again in about 1 second. This is a brand new camera, and the second BMPC4K with the same problem I’ve had. BM emailed and tried to help me on the first camera but nothing worked including firmware upgrade.
Anybody have a solution or similar problem?

I had a similar problem the moment I finished the firmware update the day I got it. After the update the screen turned green and I couldn’t turn it off.
Then I let the battery run down which solved the problem. I also installed an older firmware and then the newest one again. Since then its been working perfectly fine.
Blackmagic didn’t have any idea of what it could be, probably a software glitch.
