  Black magic presets

  Hello , I wanted to know if there is any tutorial online explaining all the functioning of blackmagic extreme hd card.

  I wanted to know what advantages of preset for eg 10bit yuv has over 8 bit yuv , where all the footage files have been directly dumped on hard disk through the Card. In my case i use jvc 700 for shooting and i directly copy files from its card either as mov files or mpeg4.

  So coming to the main question i wanted to know are the sequence presets of blackmagic only applicable if we CAPTURE the footage through YUV components or does these presets also work for footage not captured with the blackmagic cards. Sorry if question is not too clear.
