Black Magic Media Express Cuts? need an answer quickly
New to Black Magic. I have the DataLink Studio 2 card for importing and capturing analog video & audio and HDV/DV tape.
Is there a way to get Media Express to cut each shot during capture? As it stands now it will capture everything as one clip/file. All other capture program allow you to cut or create new files for each camera shot.
How do I do that with Media Express?

This is a pretty cheap (read free) program. You would probably have to go through and log the shots first,
then do a batch capture. I’ve never used that feature on Avid, but i know it only does it on certain camera types, based on their signal. Its not really a magical, any tape can be automatically broken up procedure, unless the tapes your are using have timecode breaks at each shot.Glenn
