February 1, 2012 at 11:28 amYou have to set the video output in the System Preferences before you run FCPX.

February 1, 2012 at 12:45 pmDo you mean the System preferences under the apple? Yes there is a Blackmagic Ikon that open up a menu with 2 video out options. “HDMI & Component” or” HDMI & Composite”. Sorry but cant see any difference that will make. Still no possibility to choose the resolution I want to use in FCPX.

February 1, 2012 at 7:27 pmHow did you get this control panel to come up? I’ve installed the beta and get the same version as 9.2, with out the option to change default size.
Thanks

February 1, 2012 at 9:09 pmI haven’t yet had a chance to try this but I wonder if you might need to UNINSTALL and then install the new stuff. I will try that shortly.

February 1, 2012 at 9:28 pmUninstalling and re-installing doesn’t change anything. The screenshot with output choice was clearly from a newer/higher-end output card with SDI etc.
So is NTSC SD at 30fps all that Intensity Pro users are going to get?

February 1, 2012 at 10:07 pmHere is the answer for now if you own an Intensity card-
The BlackMagic guy I spoke with on the phone said that Intensity Pro is not supported as part of this initial beta release. He did not know if the Intensity line would even be included with the final release as it may not be high on their radar.
I find that hard to believe given the amount of these cards out in circulation. You never know – I’ll keep checking for any updates.
Sorry guys….
