black lined screen
whenever o goto import a video file and then play it I get a black screen with a bunch of different colored lines popping up and i cant see my video and if i leave it runs it eventualy crashes
so plz help

Very likely something Premiere doesn’t support… You can download a copy of GSpot, it will tell you what codec was used to encode the footage.
