    Seems like I saw something about this before but can’t find it now. I’m using my camera to passthrough a DVD because the original files are not available. It’s working great except that there’s a thin black line on the left edge of the screen and even thinner line on the bottom. What causes this and can I capture without it?

    Hey Steven…

    I’m guessing that these lines won’t be visible on a TV or an Overscanned Monitor… just on your Computer Preview or an Underscanned monitor.

    It probably won’t be a problem on playback… if it is, you can always resize your video… but it will cause a slight degradation of the picture… either way it’s probably not a bit deal…
