I have always recorded with my camera (Sony Z1U) on 0 IRE NTSC setup (here we have the same system as in the US), but with a good amount of 100% zebra in every shot.

What setup should I use on the monitor (Sony PVM-14L2) connected to the AJA IO? Is the same if I connect it via s-video or via component?

For component the monitor has three options:
SMPTE 100/0/100, BETA 7.5 and Beta 0. Which one should I use?

Does the VTR (Sony DSR-45) have these same options?

    Many thanks,

    none on the monitor.

Setup is only for analog NTSC signals – there is not setup over SDI.

Set your io to use the 7.5 IRE for analog out- the monitors should not be adjusted.
