Black Frames in FCP5
When playing a 30 second sequence from the beginning in Final Cut 5, at a certain point the video starts skipping wtih black frames. However, if i start playing it a little before that same clip, it plays ok. I was given a temporary solution before where i rendered for an audio mixdown, but that was in FCP 4.5, and it doesn’t work here. Does anybody know how i can fix this? Thanks.

without any information about your system or the format you’re working with, it’s pretty hard to give advice. dropped frames are generally a result of poor data throughput from your media hard drive.
