    Hello!
I have edited a movie in Premiere Pro CS2, which I have exported to the h.264 quicktime format. The problem is that the exported file doesn’t look the same as it did on the preview screen in my project. The scale of the videos have changed, along with unexpected black borders on the sides. Since I have adjusted the scale in my videos to look exactly as they do in the preview screen, I would really appreciate if someone could tell me how to render a movie, so that the finished file looks just like the one on the preview screen.

PS. I have allready tried to set the “Safe Area” option in the project settings to 0%, and “Scale to Frame Size” didn’t work either.

    Thanks in advance!

Can you please post a list of your project and export settings and/or screenshots. No real way to figure it out without that information.

    Jesper,

You can’t really export from NTSC to PAL directly in Premiere because of framerate issues (if that’s what you meant to do), but if this file is meant for playback, I always export to square pixels.

    The resolution becomes 854×480 (1.0)

Now, you may still see tiny black borders on the sides, but that’s because CS4 now exports with exact PAR. If that’s an issue, just use the cropping setting in the export window.
