I was working right along here and ran into this big black border to the left and bottom. Two questions. How did I do that and what do I need to do to correct it?

The last thing I did was look at the tutorial for event pan crop. Before that I played with track motion but reset it to none????

I came across this doing a search, but I am at a loss to where these arrows are.

There’s an arrow called Pre/Post Toggle to the right of the word Border at the bottom left of the Border FX window.
Click this arrow so that it points left instead of right and it’ll now behave as desired.

Doesn’t look like pan/crop (the icon/button is gray) and I assume it’s for all clips in the track? Open Track Motion dialog again, right-click the area and select Restore Box. Also (and this gets me all the time!), check the Sync Cursor item (lower rightish): it’s very easy to have an earlier keyframe affect the current frame unintentionally, so look for keyframes on the Position timeline in the dialog and delete what you need to delete and/or Restore Box what you need to restore!

Thanks Eric but that did not do it. It appears right from the beginning of the clop to the end. I am going to uninstall the program pretty soon, lol… Can’t find any cursors out of place on any track motion box. I notice when I pull the first frame to the beginning it fills the box until I let go???

I am in learning mode here and the curve is just a tad steep…Appreciate the patience.

Thats definitely a track motion issue Mike….I see a keyframe
below that cloud clip…..restore your track motion, but make sure
that there is no keyframe anywhere on the timeline.

Good eye, Steve! That was it. I’ll file that one in my Problem solved list. I looked all over and didn’t see it. Thanks again! ;^)
