    Greetings,

*Sorry if I use FCP terms, I am not a PP editor and have just moved to it.

I am working in PPCS6 and I have a problem with video that shows up in the “VIEWER”. Before I render the video preview the footage looks normal and as it should, but after I render the video preview this strange black bar appears on EVERY clip. (see examples below). I did a test and found that this black bar does not follow through when I export the sequence to a .mov so that is GOOD.

The problem is the footage I am working with is sometimes slightly smaller that the timelines size, which would produce a similar effect.

I don’t want to find myself in a situation where I spend a long time exporting footage to a .mov only to find that there is a clip in there I missed because of this irregularity.

Anyone know what is going on and how I can fix it?

How the images look before rendering and after exporting

    How images look after rendering.

    Best,

    D.M. Rosemark
