So I’m doing an edit with a black background and I want to put some graphics on top. The problem is the edges of the graphic logo is white and it looks really obvious against the black. I tried to use invert but of course that inverts the entire logo not just the white part. Is there a ‘select colour change’ tool or something along those lines so I blend the white with the black background but retain the logo itself?

    Cheers everyone!

    Hi David,

Open the graphic in Photoshop, use the Magic Wand tool (w) to select the white, delete section, and then save again.

Yeah that’s what I’m in the process of doing, was just curious if there’s a quick fix in Adobe Premiere that could do it too.

    Cheers though!

I don’t believe any of the blending modes will allow you to lose the white. The only other way would be using ultra key and key out the white. That’s assuming that nothing else is white in the logo, and that it’s clean with not compressions artifacts.
