Bitwise DVD authoring
Posted by Benn Gunn on October 23, 2006 at 11:26 amI want to get to grips with using bitwise authoring and I wondered if anyone has any recommendations on any websites or books I should look at for my research? I’ve done a few websearches and havent managed to find anything which will help me out in the way I’d like.
Cheers

October 26, 2006 at 12:17 pmI’m looking at programmable playlists for music titles….kind of like a jukebox for up to 30 tracks. I want to be able to make a selection of tracks which is stored, then play the songs in order. I also would like to be able to erase all the selected tracks from the list so I can start fresh, and to be able to remove th elast selected track from the sequence without affecting the rest of the selection.
I’m not searching for a total solution on this forum, just some recommendations for refernece points.
Cheers

First solution: sonic scenarist. you can create ANY YOU WANT. But – if you know how to programming
Second solution: try to use sonic’s Roxio Easy media creator:
see https://www.roxio.com/enu/products/creator/suite/overview.html
and https://www.roxio.com/enu/products/creator/suite/features.htmlMy solution – create DVD from Roxio, then decompile by DVDReauthor, then author as you want in Scenarist 🙂

This is a thread from Apple’s site – check out Hal Maclean’s jukebox script – its DVDSP but it might give some insight
This is great site – not sure if they have any scripting examples
Lastly check out this book
Not to much info on-line on Bit shifting but you’ll get the hang of it
