  • Bitrate too high in Encore – Anyway to overide?

    Hi there,

I have just encoded an mpeg2 file with the following rates:

    max 9,800 av 7,500 min 6,000 kbps

However, upon importing into adobe encore, then hitting make dvd, it says the bitrate is too high! is it possible to overide this or do I have to re render the mpeg file now?

thanks for any help in advance

There is no override. Now you understand why I was asking about your audio bitrate in the other thread. The combined audio and video bitrate may not exceed the DVD spec max rate. Most people use 9.8 Mb/s as the max total bitrate.
