Bitrate calculator didn’t work :( DVD not fitting.
So I used a popular video bitrate calculator to compress my 2 hour long video onto a DVD through Vegas. It finishes in 10 hours but i find the size is 4.43GB, when it was supposed to be an estimated 3995 MiB. Now DVD Architect is yelling at me cause it won’t fit! I used these settings
What could have gone wrong!?

DVDA has a long history of incorrectly reporting file sizes.
With the settings you used, there’s no reason why it shouldn’t fit.
Ignore the warnings and my guess is that it will proceed without any further grief to you. -

You might want to check your DVDA template audio settings. If it defaults to PCM, it will want to rerender the audio and create DVD files that exceed the disk size. I set my DVDA audio to AC3.

Just yesterday I had to cram 2.5 hours on a single-layer DVD-R (It’s okay it was just a timecode window burn) and DVDA said it would take up 5.3GB I think. It burned onto a 4.7 just fine. DVDA is a liar, ignore it.
