  Bit rate sound distortion in preview

  When I preview in AE I am hearing a bit rate distortion. I have tried everything, different bit rates for the audio file, AIFF, WAV, MP3, different sample rates for the audio file and for the project and nothing works. I can get it to a just bearable level if I change the buffer to 2048. The sound is fine coming out of the finder and when I render the video its also fine, its just with preview.

  Im running the latst El capitan OSX and the latest AE v. 13.8.1.38

  Anyone experiencing this also?
