    Hi,

I am making a demo video for a photo kiosk which will play when it is not in use. The video I create obviously has to be played on that device, but I am having real trouble outputting my video to the correct format. Here’s the format it needs to be in:

    Microsoft ADPCM, Stereo, 22.050 kHz
    Microsoft MPEG-4 V2, 640 x 480
    530.39 kbits/s

It is an avi. file. I think any avi. file will play on the device, I am having most trouble limiting the bit-rate. Can anyone tell me how I can limit the bit-rate to the required 530.9kbit/s?

I am using a Mac, made the video in After Effects, and have Quicktime Pro.

Any help would be Greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Luke H

Hm. You might need Sorenson Squeeze. Have you tried posting on the Compression Techniques forum?

Open the master file in QT Pro, go to File>Export. In the export type dropdown, choose “Movie to Quicktime Movie” and click the “Options” box next to the dropdown. In the window that opens, click the “Settings” box. Choose MPEG-4 from the dropdown, and to the right there is a box you can type in which is labeled “Limit data rate to…” Type in the bitrate value.

    Good luck!
