  Bit rate over on Compressor 2 problems

  I have a total of 246 minutes of video to go to DVD9. When I transfer the footage from compressor 2 over to DVDSP4, I’m way over the Disk Meter (8.7)!! This is not including audio.

  Here are my settings
  MPEG-2
  Quality:
  2 pass VBR best
  4.0 average bit rate

  I have done the proper calculations and 4.0 should be safe, right? Does Compressor 2 really do 2pass VBR correctly, any different from Compressor 3? Help please!!
