Hi, I am working on a short movie that was shot in DV. I am using an AJA Xena for monitoring and was wondering what the best mode to be rendering my projects in. There are 8-10 bit and 4.2.2, 4.4.4 and YUV and RGB as options. Some of the shots I will have to be color corrected and some compositing FXs work done on them. What is the best Mode to be working in for FX’s with DV footage?

If those effects were done in Premiere, then 8 bit YUV should be the setting to use.

Thanks for the reply. They are going to be done in After FX and Combustion.
