Billings2 – Elegant billing & invoicing software
One of the fellas on the Business & Marketing Forum recommended a great $59 app for the MAC OS that tracks billable hours and creates beautiful invoices based on those billed hours. That is great and these look really good too. But I’m just wondering… Why not just do this inside Quickbooks (for MAC) or you can also use Peachtree Software (not for MAC)? Most other accounting programs will allow this as well. I know we are switching from Quickbooks to Peachtree to get a more robust asset tracking capability. Both those programs will allow you to put your logo on the invoice as well as some other artwork.

Quickbooks for the Mac is a good tool.
We own it, but it is so not well designed.
I really hate it.It should be able to do much more way way way simpler.
I really think Windows engineers just slapped it together for the Mac.
Intuit needs to get real Mac designers for it!!!Unfortunately, it is probably the best choice to date…

Agreed. My accountant threatened to quit if he had to work on Quickbooks one more day. However Peachtree doesn’t run on a MAC so we are moving that part of our operation to the PC world. No biggie. We alrady use PCs for some of our offline photoshop work.
