    Hey gang
The boss has just advised me that he wants to ad another suite at bargain basement prices by Thursday(I know I know…) I’ve got quotes from a reseller and he came back with the XPRESS ProHD with the MOJO. My question is “what have been the biggest concerns with the MOJO”
I’m a good tire kicker for this kinda thing but the clock is kill’in me.
I have a demo lined up for tomorrow but would love some backup from the great COW.

    Thanks in advance

    PS
come on Bob give me your 2 cents…please

I’m not Bob, but I play him on TV….

Mojo has been 99% outstanding. Updating the firmware during software updates is a brilliant. The down side? No on/off button (occaisonally, you need to restart the Mojo) and the RCA audio inputs. I don’t think it affects the quality of the sound, but it makes connections to pro decks a bit of a pain. If you are going firewire only, it’s not really an issue.

As far as I’m concerned, there is no reason not to get a Mojo system (that is, if your skillset is invested in Avid). Otherwise, there is some great stuff out there – Premiere Pro, FCP, Pinnacle that is cheaper… It all depends on what you want to use it for…

Thanks Jon, Thats what I thought(the audio issue) What kind of errors are causing you to have to restart the MOJO? Have you messed with the digi design 002 board at all?
Thanks for taking the time to read

No issue in particular – and now that I think about it, since I’ve upgraded to 4.6, we’ve not had any problems with the Mojo. We have a Mackie 1602, so I’ve not had the desire to buy the Studio version.
