October 4, 2014 at 10:44 pmI think he wants us to list what plugin(s) that would be.
I think Noise Industries FX Factory and RedGiant Universe have lots of diversity.
CoreMelt Lock&Load stabilization plugin really helps me regularly.
NeatVideo video noise reduction has helped when I’ve had no choice but shoot with inadequate lighting in dark locations.

October 9, 2014 at 2:21 amI’m seconding Craig’s vote for NeatVideo. Have used that many times to remove noise (from severe to hardly noticeable). Worth every penny.
FilmStyles filters are awesome for color grading.
“Mask 8 points” by Alex4D makes masking a lot easier. (It’s an 8 point mask up from FCP X’s 4).
DaVinci Resolve Lite (not a plugin, but a great free third-party tool).
7toX if you’re going from FCP 7 to X.

October 9, 2014 at 8:38 amAs far as deniosers are concerned, you might want to check out Photon Pro. It doesn’t have as many fiddly settings, sliders and graphs as Neat, but my unscientific comparisons show that it can hold up to Neat (is even better in some cases) and only costs a fraction of it.

October 9, 2014 at 3:49 pmI also like Red Giant Universe, really great stuff and you get to vote on what they should add next. Update cycle is on average, monthly.
In some sense, Motion could be considered a plug-in as it allows for one to build, from scratch, custom effects, transitions, generators and titles.
I also like Total Adjustment from RGB House (think that is the name), which is an adjustment layer. Available for free from the App Store.
That is my list and love to hear what anyone else is using.

Aside from being easily made yourself in Motion (in about 10 seconds), Ripple have one, too:
