Isn’t skeuomorphic design one of the major reasons for Apple’s great success? The fact that certain things just look familiar to consumers breaks down alot of technology cross over barriers don’t you think?

I can understand that as professional video makers we might think it’s all a bit naff but for the general public it’s somewhat comforting. Even having iPad’s simulate page turning. Doesn’t that all add to the user experience?
