    Hi all,
I’m starting a big DVD project and have decided to do it in Encore though I’m fearful of all the buginess. This DVD will have multilple menus that need to animate from one to the next. In fact there is very little video, but the client insists they want a DVD instead of a CD-Rom. Right off the bat, we are having trouble making the menu transitions appear seamless. Is there another program that handles this better? Are there any books anyone would recommend? When I make a still menu then link to a video that animates from one menu to the next, I get a black blink before it goes and then for some reason, the animation plays twice before landing on the next video. This has me pretty stressed since there will be roughly 50 of these in the DVD.
    Any thoughts would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

I tried the same thing a while back and i found that the transitions were smoother when the disk is actually burned vs using the preview in encore which was clunky.

Don’t know how it will affect your project though, mine at the time was pretty small.
