Hello everyone, im having problems with a project that crashes just when its about to open…

The system im using is a 2,5mhz 4 processor powerpc mac pro with 4,5 gigs of ram.( i think its the most powerfull powerpc that came out )

when i try to open the project it starts opening all the sequences as it displays: “preparing for display” , the thing is there is an awful lot of sequences, about 200 or more ( its a family videography and goes year by year ) and when its about to finish it crashes, only once itgot to the reconect media window and as i pressed reconnect it crashed…

the thing is reading other peoples posts i realize this project isnt as big ( 58 mgs ) as the 150 – 200 mgs other people are talking about.

could my problem be too many sequences? and another thing is that it was working absolutely fine the last time i worked on it in the same computer…the only thing i did is moved it to a xsan and made a copy to a usb 2.0 drive and neither of them succed to load. btw the total project files are about 1,5 TB. oO

    Thanks in advance, Dave.
