BIG PROBLEM – DVD RESULT
Hello,
I have this big problem overhere.
Im not sure what the problems are fields, encoding,…I used FCP, AFX, DVD Studio PRo.
So i put all my settings i used in here. There for ill post this in different forums.I made a short movie from about 35 min. I burned the dvd just now, and was clad the project was finily over. The result on my computer looks quit good, iff ill say myself.
I still a beginner in the bussiness so a gess i make a still make a lot of mistakes like this.
When i looked on my tv downstairs, and it is a pretty shitty flatscreen one. I noticed some of the footage got a bad view. When i look more its all the footage that has been imported and exported out off after effects: animation, some visual effects.
Because i think its a problem off the field. I will tell every render setting i did, so you could maby understand what i did wrong.
Project file in FCP 5
Every video sequence:
Pal Lower field 720*576 with a letterbox i used.
Some of the footage is 16/9, i used also in the 4/3 sequencesAll of the footage here looks good.
Everything was shot on DVI got one part that was shot HDVRPRO. Who now i see, seem to be (FIeld domminace)UpperField. Crap!
I used it in the same project sequences Lower field. Pal 4/3
1. What do i have to do change to get it to lower fields? All of the animation are exported with refernce files out off FCP, renderd out in AFX as Full Res, No codec
Lower field, RGB+Alpha Straight Million off colors
Put back in same project sequences(FCP) lowerfield 4/3
I made animation for the dvd menu renderd it at same. Imported it right to DVD studio Pro= Looks ok on tv.When everything was ready, i exported it to a reference file quicktime.
Than Imported it dvd studio pro.Setting studio Pro:
4/3 Pal
The quictimes were encoded in dvd studio pro
Field order auto
1 pass vbr
Bitrate 6 mps
Max bit rate 7
GoodThats it about it.
I now this will be nightwork. deadline tomorrow morning 11 30
So i would appreciate help.
