Hi there,
Anyone got any top tips on how to create something like this?

Book of Revelations sort of thing.
I can’t find a plugin for FCP or a template for AE or MOTION. Any ideas greatly appreciated.
I’m even having trouble just working out what my search terms should be.

The example you linked to was shot with a camera on a slider or dolly. No After Effects necessary 🙂
You can recreate the look in After Effects with a paper texture, a text layer, and a AE camera. Make a long composition with the texture and your text and drop it into the another comp that is the size of your final video. Make the precomp 3D, tilt it on the x axis, and add a camera that is parented to a 3D Null Object. Keyframe the null object so the camera dollies from one side to the other. Add a spot light and turn on depth of field for the finishing touches. Maybe add a slight warp to make it look like your paper isn’t completely flat.
