Bias Trial – Problems
Hey Cows,
Has anyone ever had trouble with Bias Trial offers expiring? About a month or so ago when I updated FCP to 5.1.4 and OS10. latest.. I also visited the Bias web site to see if my Sound Soap had any updates. I also loaded their Trial updates for their Sound Studio something (never got time to play with it)
Over the past couple days my FCP has been real weird, keyboard not responding, mouse going dead, drop down menus not Bold or accessable (made me learn Key strokes). Yes thanks to the reminder in my previous post I did trash preferences and a Cache (2-5 files?) But after rebooting everything worked for awhile and then progressively got worse. I have dumped the preferences more than once, maybe I am missing the most important one. And it keeps acting weird. Never the same symtoms. I did notice that when opening FCP the Bias ‘Buy-it-now’ prompt kept showing up. So I was wondering if their trail offers have a history of problems… Maybe somebody has another place to search for an answer.. If not it looks like a long weekend of re-stripe and reload from the ground up…. Yuk…

PS: You NABers Keep your eyes open for the re-incarnation of the HUB3 Technology-Cinewave card,,, I will bet Avid has it rebranded and in a PC somewhere…
