    Bi-directional linear wipe : Is there a local solution?

    Unless I am missing something, ALL of the linear wipes in Vegas are uni-directional. Now I can use the venetian blind (with a little trickery) to open FROM center–in opposite directions–but how can one CLOSE to center from opposite directions?

    I suppose if I could overlay one transition object upon another this would be easy, but I don’t see a way to do this, either.

    Can you use the Transitions envelope to get the effect you want?
