    During a quick job I’ve crudely thrown together some animating shapes. I noticed afterwards that I created a bezier path instead of keeping them as shapes which means the ‘size’ under the path is not available to me (as I want to scale down whilst keeping stroke thickness).

    Is there any way I can change back to shape, from bezier path? I know the best option is to start from scratch and do it properly….. but i dont want to! This could also help for future projects as I notice I do this a lot..

    you can’t convert a bezier shape to a parametric shape so starting from scratch is the normal practice. there are other ways to keep the stroke thickness other that using the rectangle path scale. you can drag the stroke outside of the rectangle group and this way the render order is scale first, then stroke. like this:
