I am working on zooming in on a bunch of stills in 3D space with a camera in 6.5. I put the farthest still, at about -40000 keyframe Camera position away from the farthest still. It would like to make the still a lot farther away then that, but if I go beyond -40000 (to let’s say -50000), for some reason, my still (in the distance) seems to wink in and out as I scrub through the timeline, I am not sure why this is. Any ideas?

Do you have lights in your comp ? The resolution of the shadow map may be too low to accurately know if the layer should be obscured or visible…

Try changing the 3D render engine in your Advanced Comp settings.
