Bevel Transparency Question – WITH PICTURES
Hello,
I wanted to repost this question with more in-depth pictures of how my project is set up.I had a question regarding how the Layer Style ‘Bevel and Emboss’ works and how it spans over multiple compositions. My ultimate goal is to eliminate the slight transparency of the text that is present in the picture “AE Picture 1”. In this video, I’m using a slice effect to create an animation that slices through the text, but for some reason the text in the main composition is a tad transparent – does anyone know why? Is it something to do with the Bevel Layer Style and how it is composited over multiple compositions? I’m using the Screen blending mode to combine the text and the particle background – is it maybe the Screen mode that’s causing this? I gave some explanations of things in the pictures below – any help would be awesome! Thanks.
