    Hello…

I am a newbie to AE, using version CS3.

I’m trying to create kind of a cheesy graphic for the nominee announcements of a fake awards show.

I have animated the CC Light Sweep effect to a yellow solid to create a gold shimmering background. And in the middle, I’ve inverted a rectangular mask so there is a transparent hole in the middle. It will basically be creating a frame around different video footage that will placed in the back.

Here’s my question: I’ve added the Bevel Edges effects, which is creates a bevel around the yellow solid. Is there a way I can bevel the edges around the hole in the middle of the solid (the rectangular mask)?

    Thanks so much!
