  • Better looking Stroke than Layer Style Stroke?

Posted by Nicolas Hansen on August 15, 2008 at 2:07 pm

    Hello
I am applying a stroke with layer styles to a trapcode 3d stroke, and particles from CC Particle world. It looks pretty decent, but it isn’t quite as smooth as I had hoped. I know it probably mostly has to do with the particle/stroke hardness, but I was wondering if there is a way to soften up the stroke a bit.
    Thanks!

Try using an outer glow with a high spread % instead. This will allow you to control how ‘hard’ or ‘soft’ the edge is.
