I need to know what the menu setting procedure is (if there is one at all) to get a SONY BetacamSX camera (don’t have a model number) to output a center-punch 4:3 picture in the composite video-out, or a letterbox 16:9 inside a 4×3 composite output.

We’re playing tapes out of the camera into a standard-def uplink rack for remote transmission, and all we get out of the camera’s composite output spigot is an anamorphic (vertically squeezed) 4:3 picture.

I know our Panasonic HD cameras can be set to send a center-punch 4;3 or a letterbox SD composite output, I am assuming the SONY camera, though older, can do this as well. Any thoughts?

And who still uses BetaSX anyhow!?!:-)

Thanks for any specific menu suggestions you can offer.
