February 6, 2008 at 8:19 pmI’d go with AJA, Blackmagic still has not fixed the NTSC Component A to D side of theit multibridge so i’d assume the decklink has the same problem.. PAL is fine though..

February 6, 2008 at 8:21 pmHey MD! I’m actually going through that exact process at the moment, I’ve hooked up my beta sp deck (sony bvw 75p) with an addenda rosetta stone usb/4 9pin remote (for deck control) and getting video signal through firewire canopus box, seems to be workin pretty good, you’ll need to create a new A/V setting for deck control though.
Hope this is helpful,

This does work, though keep in mind you are limited to the DV codec when you do this. If you use an AJA product, you can workin 8 or 10bit uncompressed which is really preferred for BetaSP originated material.

what are you talking about specifically?
component analog input and output is fine on the multibridge extreme.
composite output is awful and un-useable, is that what you mean?
