  Best workflow with XDCAM/FCP and AE/Windows

  Is there a a good workflow for editing XDCAM in FCP and bouncing the footage between my Mac and the Windows version of AE? There is always an Animation codec that will work on both systems but the size of the files and rendering times seem like a drag.
  And then there are issues relating to the color space – any advice on selecting the proper settings?
