Best workflow for audio waveforms created in Motion to finish edits in FCPX
Sorry for the newbie question:
I just created some cool animated audio waveforms in Apple Motion (following this tutorial https://youtu.be/g8Kvrbx1jgk).
Now I’d like to know what’s the best workflow so I can use the waveforms for multiple videos inside FCPX. I see there are different ways to save Motion projects (such as templates, generators, etc) but I’m not sure if any will allow me to modify the parameters in FCPX.
Ideally, I’d like to create the waveforms once in Motion and then use them in FCPX to finish all the videos but I’m not sure what limitations there would be in FCPX in terms of modifying things like size, color, delay, etc.
At first, I thought I’d just export the almost finished videos into Motion and apply the waveforms there as the last step but that doesn’t sound efficient because I’d have to do 2 exports for each video. Likewise, exporting the audio waveforms from Motion with an alpha channel then importing into FCPX doesn’t sound efficient either.
Thanks in Advance.
