Best workflow for Audio 24p to 23.98 (35mm DV NTSC xfer)
The facts:
35mm xferred to DV NTSC– cinema tools database was used to digitize in FCP
@29.97 to be reconnected in cinema tools,
reverse telecine
which brings me to 23.98
import to fcp at 23.98 in timeline….Now, what is the best work flow do I take my 24p audio and do a (3:2 pulldown???) to 23.98?
If so what is the best way to do this? Soundbooth? Cinema tools?Ultimately must go back to the lab for 35 blowup.

This has come up a lot of times lately, do read back / search.
Most used trick is to change the sample rate of the sound, so it will play back .1 % slower. This will cause a small pitch shift, but requires no render, meaning no quality loss.
QTchange can do so for you (export QT to BWF with speed change)
