Best workflow After Effects Premiere
Hi.
I’m handling a project the involves different three types of sequences: only motion graphics, only footage and footage with motion graphics. About this last type. I was wondering what’s the best workflow:
1) Rendering the sequences in after effects with the footage already included
2) Rendering only the motion graphics with alpha channel in after effects and include the footage only in premiere
3) Importing AE comps to premiereThanks

If you have time you do a lot of frame checks, basically test renders.
In VFX, you would only deal per shot required.
Some go as tight as the last frame then cross your fingers that it matches later.
Well, not last frame maybe handles of 12 frames.
It’s a lot of lugging around if you have a final creative of say 1 hour but maybe 30 min of that has AE involved.
Again do tests or weigh out your options.
Oh, and I am not a fan of using Alphas from AE to any NLE.
I’m old school and have done that for years in the past.
