best way to remove hot pixels on dslr footage

1. Use a plugin like BCC Pixel Fixer, either on the footage directly or on an adjustment layer above all footage.

2. Build a dead pixel matte (black frame with dead pixel locations colored white) and use it as the blur layer for a compound blur.

3. Add an adjustment layer above all your video. Add the transform effect and use it to move the video up a pixel or two. Crop creatively, or use a dead pixel matte as above in combination with the Track Matte Key effect to limit its effect to dead pixels only.

4. Nest your edited sequence into another sequence. Manually remove cover pixels with extra layers, re-positioning and cropping as necessary.

i made a quick ae 6 project that remove up to 3 specks at a time.
it has speck size, remove speck, and visible boundry box.
it’s cc wire removal set in cross-hair positions attached to a shape layer.

Hey thanks.

I purchased the continuim units package, downloaded, installed but no show in the effects bin.

I’m using premiere pro cc in windows 8

It seemed to install properly, but no luck with the plugins showing up in premiere.

Am I doing something wrong.

it probably put them in another folder, do a search for aex files and put them in the plugins folder.
