  Best way to import SxS media metadata into FCP 10.1.2

  I’m trying to get XDCAM Transfer or any other program to retain my logging metadata when I import into Final Cut Pro 10.1.2. Specifically Title, Creator, Comment. This use to work no problem but seems to have quit about a year ago.
  I’ve tried ‘Camera import plugins v10’, PDZK-LT2_1.2.1 and don’t even get the File > Import > Sony XDCAM option. I’ve also tried Content Browser 2.3.1 (trial) and Catalyst Browse 1.1. I have the latest FAM driver.

  Should I be including an xml file? I’m not sure what that does as the metadata I’m looking for seems to be contained within the Quicktime file.
