    Hi all,

Just wondering how many of you try to contact Maxon or somehow get it into their ears that certain features really need to be addressed in upcoming versions of C4D instead of 3rd party stuff.

Two BIG things that really annoy me in C4D (although i love alot of other things)

    1. from a very recent post – being able to preview a quicktime material frame for frame in the editor view. There shouldn’t have to be workarounds for something as vital as this.

    2. Point Level Animation – as far as I know, you don’t get f-curve control on this type of animation. How incredibly frustrating. It makes something as cool as point level animation almost unusable if you can’t get the same kind of control as you get on other animation keyframes.

Oh, I will rejoice the day when these are resolved in C4D. I just hope they are working on these issues as we speak and know that these are key features we all need for doing animation in C4D.

So, back to my original question, is there a way to have a dialouge with Maxon about these issues?

Maxon is very responsive. But, I must say as one who has used many other 3D apps I have found the point upgrades in C4D to be some of the best of any 3D app. From R8.5 to R9.0 was a massive upgrade with over 100 new changes/tools, etc. No other app I’ve seen can say that about any .5 upgrade.
