Best way to fix this kind of brightness/glow?
Hey guys.
I recorded a video from a game using MSI Afterburner and Afterburner doesn’t seem to record things the way it looks on my screen and has some odd gamma and contrast on the recorded videos.I have a video that looks like this, here’s a screenshot (note: may be NSFW, not really)
https://i.imgur.com/NDUE0jU.pngAs you can see, the skin looks very bright in this picture. I already tried messing with gamma, brightness, and contrast and can’t really seem to get it to look natural. The picture is the best I could do.
Do you guys know of any plugins and tips to try to reduce the brightness on the skin a bit?

I would use the Levels plug-in with the Computer RGB to Studio RGB preset for starters. Then add Color Curves after that and adjust the curve until brightness is under control. Start with a nice ‘S’ curve to crush the blacks and whites as much or as little as you want.
