Hi there. In Resolve’s Fusion page, I’ve keyed a tricky bluescreen shot and used two delta keyers to do it. I worked on the key against a background node set to white and the key looked good. When coming to export I turned the RGB and alpha values of the background node to 0 and then exported a Tiff sequence. The alpha mode is locked to premult.

The shot is destined for After Effects but when I import it there the shot has a dark fringe around it. Changing the premultiplication setting from straight to premult didn’t really help. If I import the Tiff sequence to Resolve it has the same problem.

I’ve never actually exported an alpha shot from Resolve to use in another software before and I guess I’m missing something. I’m imagining it’s something to do with where in the node tree the premultiplication is happening but I’m at a loss to fix it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Best wishes,

    John
