    HEllO Folks,

I am an FCP guy and a client of mine is a Premiere Pro Guy. He would like to Output a project to his consumer camera for us as a projection copy. I f i burn him a QT apple DV codec will he be able to use that file in a Premiere timeline? if not what would be the best QT file to give him? Thanks for your help.

If you have QuickTime Pro (and I bet you do) then the best thing would be to use the QT and export it as an AVI using the DV/DVCPRO settings. He will be able to import this directly into Premiere as easily as you import mov files into FCP.

He will be able to import and use the QT file type you propose but it will not be as clean or as fast as the avi would be.

I was just wondering if QT Pro on the Mac has the avi export option. Does it, or is that only on the Windows version?
