    Hi All,

Hoping that you masters can shed some light on this issue.

I have a 90 minute concert loaded into FCP 7 comprised of source footage that’s all Pro Res LT. My final goal is to provide my client with a DVD of the entire concert. My usual approach is to just export my sequence as a self-contained QT, then compress that for DVD in Compressor-but I’m reluctant to try this since my QT export will most likely be in the hundreds of GB range which I think is too big.

What option will give me the best quality? Exporting an H.264 directly out of FCP and then using compressor to make the DVD”s or another approach?

    Thanks for any thoughts…

    Steve
